Caramelized Badam


  • Badam - 1 cup Sugar - 1/4 cup Water - 4 tbsp Salt - 1 pinch


To a wide pan . Bring in Badam , sugar and water. Stir it with flame on high. Keep stirring for the sugar to caramelize. The perfect state is when the Badam stick to each other. The Badam will look like sugar dusted. At this stage add salt . Transfer to a parchment paper. This can be toasted in a preheated oven at 250 °C for 2 minutes. This is to warm-up the inner portion of the Badam. Cool down completely and store in a air tight container. Once it's completely cooled , it will taste crispy n sweet. Tasty caramelized badam for kids.
